A 10-minute setup. You don't install anything by hand โ your own Claude does it for you. Everything it captures lands in your Google Drive, your Mac stays clean โ and every morning, your Claude wakes up already knowing your projects.
Leave your name and email so Steve knows who's installing IVA Intelligence. That's the entire purpose. The record kept is your name, email, and submitting IP (normal web-log stuff). No newsletter, no emails to you at all, never shared. It unlocks the install prompt below.
That's genuinely the whole job. Claude fetches the kit from this page and walks you through the rest like a friendly technician.
Read https://installpraxis.com/iva-intelligence/AGENT_INSTALL.md and follow it exactly, step by step, to install my IVA Intelligence capture kit. Talk me through every step in plain language โ tell me exactly what to click, and wait for me to confirm before moving on. If the kit status says it isn't live yet, just tell me when to come back.
Claude narrates all of this as it goes. Total time: about 10 minutes.
It checks the file fingerprints (checksums) before running anything.
Screen, Voice, and Chrome activity. They run silently in the background with a small status light in your menu bar โ and a Pause button that's always one click away.
macOS requires a human to grant Screen Recording and Microphone access. Claude shows you exactly where each switch is and waits while you flip it.
A browser window opens โ pick your Google account and click Allow. That's the only account step. Your recordings go to your Drive, in a folder called IVA_Capture. Nobody else's cloud.
It records, uploads a test bundle to your Drive, verifies it, and prints PASS. Steve gets the install receipt automatically. From tonight onward, it just works.
Every day is captured locally. Every night it moves to your Drive, gets double-checked, and your Mac gets wiped clean of it. While you sleep, the AI studies it and updates its memory of you.
A status light shows whenever recording is on, and the Pause button is one click away โ anyone can press it, any time.
Recordings go to your own Google Drive and nowhere else. You can open the folder and look any time.
Nothing is deleted from your Mac until it's verified safe on your Drive โ and once verified, your Mac is wiped clean so it never clogs up.
A receipt arrives every day. If anything stops working, an alert goes out within minutes โ it cannot fail quietly.
No. The recorders are lightweight, pause automatically when you're idle or the lid is closed, and never keep more than ~15 GB on disk (most days it's far less, because each night gets cleaned after upload).
Nothing is lost. The upload simply runs the next time your Mac is awake and online. Days are never deleted until they're verified on your Drive.
Yes โ one click in the menu bar. Pausing is honest in both directions: the day's receipt will show the pause, so there's no sneaky recording and no sneaky gaps.
Three things: what's on the screen, what's said out loud (only within the hours set for your profile โ for kids, school hours only), and Chrome activity (pages visited, searches, downloads). All of it goes only to your Drive.
Every night, a private job on your own Mac โ using your own Claude โ distills the day into a small, plain-text memory: what you worked on, open tasks, where things stand. From then on, your Claude starts every conversation already knowing your projects. The memory is yours: plain markdown files on your machine (and your Drive) that you can open, edit, or delete any time.
